Music Ministry | Soulshine Band  (Will resume after pandemic)

soulshine bandSoulshine is our resident contemporary music band which leads our worship monthly at the 10:00 am Sunday Service. The band, all members of our church, have been performing Christian rock music for over 15 years at worship services and various events outside the church, including concerts, street fairs, conferences, retreats, summer camps, family nights, fundraisers, and more!

Soulshine’s mission is to help break down barriers and inspire hope. The songs written by the band come from their collective life experiences—the challenges, loves, losses, fears, concerns, and the moments that stamp us with change and make us a different person than we once were. Their music is not a sugar-coated message of faith. What they share is faith tested in the fire, and a positive statement of hope for everyone who struggles—which, of course, is everyone. One of their original songs, Bar None, is a good example of their message of hope and God’s redemptive Grace:

“No jacket no tie required …welcome everyone
Surrender to Him … let His will be done
Come just as you are … bar none”
