About Funerals

When a loved one dies, the family and friends are required to make many decisions. Our staff is available to help you plan the funeral or memorial service, and is available for services in the Church, at the Funeral Home, graveside or other suitable location.

Our Pastor Karen Burger has much experience comforting the bereaved and planning meaningful, personalized and inspirational funeral, memorial and interment services in consultation with family members.

Planning a Funeral at Mamaroneck United Methodist Church

The funeral director often contacts the Church Office to make arrangements, but you may contact us directly as well. The following are guidelines for planning a funeral at our church:

1. Services conducted will be spiritually based and prayerful.
2. Music should be coordinated with the Director of Music and Pastor.
3. Our Church Office Manager will be happy to assist you with all matters regarding documents required, fees, flowers, decorating and scheduling.
