We offer a number of opportunities in different areas within our church walls that would benefit from your involvement. Most do not require any previous experience or training. Christian Education Ministry

Worship Support Ministry
inside-worshipBecome a member of the team that assists the Pastor in making the Sunday Service a beautiful and rich experience. Activities include Reading Scripture, Serving Communion, Altar Flowers, Ushering and Greeting. No experience needed.

Hospitality & Welcome Ministry

Nurture & Care Ministry
DSC_0172Offers care to members who are hospitalized, in nursing homes, shut-in, recently bereaved, or generally in need of prayer and support.  Join our Cards Ministry, Meals Ministry and/or Visitation Ministry.

Communications Ministry
inside-communicationsAre you a writer, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, web designer, Facebook-er, or simply an internet-surfer?  If so, there are plenty of opportunities to use your digital talents and interests at MUMC.  We are always looking for people to help publicize and document church events, upload photos to social media, design flyers and brochures, write articles for our e-newsletters, and more!

Helping Hands Ministry
