Where is the church located? | |
A MUMC is a historic landmark located in the village of Mamaroneck at 546 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck New York in the county of Westchester. Easily accessible by car, bus or train, our church is a fine example of Gothic Revival architecture. The spire of our church rises high in the sky and is a beacon to anyone from the streets or the surrounding waters of the Long Island Sound, just a half hour northeast of Manhattan on the Long Island Sound. |

Where do I park? | |
| On Sunday mornings, parking is available in the church parking lot. Curbside parking is also available on the streets. | ||

What will the service be like? | |
|
The 8:00AM service is a thirty minute service with sermon and Holy Communion celebrated each week. It is a quiet, meditative service with no music. The 9:30AM service is a family worship service lasting one hour that blends a wide range of music led by our adult and children’s choirs, featuring classical, traditional, and contemporary works. A Children’s Moment takes place each week, as does the reading of scripture, sermon. Holy Communion takes place on the 1st Sunday of every month . |

Is childcare available during the service? |

We are known as the “Kid Friendly” church. Children are welcome at our worship services with their parents. There is even a “Moment with the Children” when the pastor invites them to the alter for a short story related to the sermon.

What should I wear to MUMC? |
|
|
Whatever makes you comfortable. You will see men in suits and ties as well as casual clothes, women in business formal as well as sports clothes. “Human looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). If you are comfortable with what you are wearing, then so are we. |

Do I have to be a member of MUMC to take Communion? |

We have a tradition of an open table. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion whether members of MUMC or not. |
